Meet The Team

Sharon Shelley – Managing Director
My career working with elderly people started at the age of 12. I lived above a small elderly care home and would spend hours with the residents chatting and listening to their life stories. At weekends, I would chambermaid and help with the tea trolley. I attended university and attained my LLB 2:1 (hons) law degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. I went on to practice as a solicitor with the largest firm in the southwest but, after five years, decided to follow my heart: I left legal practice and purchased my first care home for the elderly in Liskeard. I have never looked back.
I am qualified and trained to Manager level and used to be a Southwest Link Worker for Dementia. My goal has always been to provide a home where my residents feel loved and not just cared for. I feel that my team and I have achieved that. Many of my colleagues have been with me for almost 20 years and they are as much a part of Sharob Care as I am.
I am very family orientated and have a wonderful husband and two beautiful, healthy children. I love animals and have 2 cats, 2 St Bernard dogs and a horse. I love baking, eating good food, and drinking good wine. I also enjoy going to see a good band and will support my father’s local band, Rickety Bones, when I can.
When I have some free time, I enjoy horse-riding, dancing, wild swimming and all things ocean.

Ania Dziaduszek – Operations Director
I was born in a small town in Poland. I first came to England in 2006 where I began my care career at Eldon House, 1st Home owned by Sharob Care. I worked as a domiciliary carer and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of the role and the clientele. I have worked as a care assistant, accounts assistant and team leader and worked my way up to management. I completed Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
I am happy to step into any role and my broad base of knowledge of each role has put me in good stead for my management career as I am a firm believer it helps to work from the ground up.
I am keen to keep myself fit (to balance my love of chocolate) and particularly enjoy cycling. Fortunately, we live in a part of the world which is perfect for this.
I am deeply committed to my job and being able to enrich our Resident’s lives. I feel honored that I get to share in some small part of this with both them and their loved ones. I love that I can go home with a sense of achievement and the feeling that I have done something good, this drive and motivates me. I like to inspire our staff, colleagues, and friends to be the best they can be and will go over and above to help them.
I have good work ethic, am determined, and work extremely hard to achieve. I like to push myself with everything I do.

Kristina Uhrova - Manager at Trelana
I am originally from Slovakia and have lived in England for over 10 years. I completed a Master’s degree in Nursing at a university in Slovakia and later began studying for a PhD. However, I decided to pursue my dream of moving to England before completing my doctoral studies. I have traveled across the country, and five years ago, I chose to settle in beautiful Cornwall.
When I first arrived in England, I worked as a housekeeper and waitress to improve my language skills. Once I felt confident, I applied for my first role in the care sector as a healthcare assistant. I registered with the NMC four years ago to continue my nursing career. Over the past four years, I have progressed from Clinical Lead to Deputy Manager, and I am now proud to serve as the Registered Manager at Trelana Nursing Home.
I am active and enjoy horse riding, skiing, swimming, and walking—along with any sport or activity that gives me an adrenaline rush. In addition to my love for outdoor activities, I am also passionate about food and will never say no to a good meal!
Becoming a nurse has always been my ambition, as I am dedicated to caring for others and making a positive impact on the lives of both residents and their families. I have a strong work ethics, and I am enthusiastic and passionate about my role. I am committed to going above and beyond to ensure that residents, their families, and our staff feel happy, valued, and fully supported.

Claire Mann - Manager at Caprera
Hello! I’m Claire, a passionate advocate for equality, diversity, and elderly care. Born and raised in the beautiful county of Cornwall, I’ve spent most of my life here, but my journey has also taken me to Northern Ireland, where I discovered my love for helping others.
My story into elderly care began quite serendipitously. I started at the Belfast Trust, initially working as a clerical officer in payroll. However, my enthusiasm and dedication didn’t go unnoticed, and soon I was asked to step into a role in domiciliary care. It was an unexpected turn, but one that I embraced wholeheartedly, balancing office work by day and care work on weekends. Eventually, my passion for caring led me to pursue it full-time, and I haven’t looked back since. Today, I’m the Registered Manager at Caprera, where I lead a dedicated team committed to providing the highest quality care. I ensure that our residents are engaged, stimulated, and supported in line with their personal wishes. Building strong relationships with social workers, commissioners, and families, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.
I’m a firm believer in continuous learning and development. I’ve completed advanced diplomas in Leadership and Management, HR Management, and Operations Management, among others. Each qualification has equipped me with the skills to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of elderly care.
When I’m not at work, you can find me exploring the scenic beauty of Cornwall, enjoying a good book, or spending quality time with family and friends. My journey has been filled with unexpected twists and turns, but each step has led me to where I am today — a place where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Lucy Daniells - Manager at Eldon House
I began my journey in care as a Healthcare Assistant in 2010 before joining Sharobcare in 2015, where I have continued to grow and develop my career. Over the years, I have gained several qualifications, with my most recent achievement being a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
In my mid-20s, I chose to return to adult education to improve my mathematics skills, demonstrating my commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
My priority is to create a safe, relaxed, and happy home for those we support while ensuring the highest standards of care and promoting individual choice. By fostering these values within my team, I strive to build a strong and reliable workforce that enhances our residents’ experiences. My colleagues are invaluable, and through teamwork and mutual support, we encourage professional success—something that is truly reflected in the quality of care we provide.
Working in the care sector is a privilege, and I feel incredibly grateful to support people who appreciate us every day.
In my free time, I love to unwind by jogging, attending fitness classes, taking long walks, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Fun fact: I can move my ears without touching them!
